For the last number of years Newtownabbey & Bangor schools have joined together for School Sports Day.
Sport’s Day 2010 between Newtownabbey and Bangor took place at Bangor Independent Christian School. Although the rain never seemed too far away we enjoyed dry weather to run all the races. Children and parents enjoyed the refreshments at lunch time. Although we competed together a winner is chosen for each class group for each school. The winners in Newtownabbey were:
Grace McClung & David McKeown (Lower Primary),
Lydia McKeown & David McClung (Upper Primary),
Jerusha Greer (Secondary Girls),
Philip Bonar (Secondary Boys).
